This piece was inspired by our beautiful Sydney Harbour. I wanted it to be a large dramatic scene of the Harbour Bridge and I also wanted to showcase the iconic Paddington lace terrace houses that we see all around, particularly in Paddington and Balmain. I have always loved them, they are just magical to me. In the foreground you will see monarch butterflies which to me are a symbol of strength and perseverance.
